Our pricing options may vary based on the number of lessons per week, private or group, but our dedication to delivering quality instruction remains resolute. Group Lessons: We are delighted to offer flexible monthly tuition options for swimming lessons. Our aim is to accommodate different schedules and budgets so that every child can benefit from our swim programs. For our group lessons, those looking for a more intensive approach, we have a 3-days-per-week choice, allowing your child to receive repeated and frequent instruction and make rapid progress in their swimming skills. If you prefer a slightly more relaxed schedule for group lessons or have other commitments, we also provide a 2-days-per-week option is alternative balances out reasonably priced with regularity and stability in learning. Additionally, our 1-day-per-week option, for group lessons, is perfect for families with limited availability or those seeking an introduction to swimming skills or bone up on skills & a lifelong love of the water. Please don’t forget about “SPEED WEEK- our rapid progression program!” This is during a holiday period from school (Winter break, Spring break & Summer break), which Swimming Safari offers 4 days in one week, in a group class setting. These back-to-back lessons provide accelerated trainings, to “speed” your child up in their progress. We have seen children move up sometimes even 2 levels because of this consistency and practice in a short period of time. Private lessons Embarking on the journey of private swim lessons brings with it a host of invaluable benefits. One of the most significant advantages is the personalized attention your child receives from our experienced instructors. In a one-on-one setting, our instructors tailor the lessons to cater specifically to your child’s unique needs, ensuring a focused and efficient learning experience. Dive into Water Safety Week at Swimming Safari!

Welcome to Water Safety Week at Swimming Safari! This week, we are shining a spotlight on the importance of water safety for both kids and parents. Our mission is to ensure that everyone can enjoy the water safely and confidently, whether at the pool, beach, or any other water setting. Water Safety Pledge: A Commitment to Safety Before the kids even dip their toes into the water, we start with our Water Safety Pledge. This pledge is a crucial step in instilling the importance of water safety in young swimmers. Here’s how it goes: “I promise to always ask permission before I go swimming. I promise to learn to swim and float on my back. I promise to always swim with an adult. And I promise to always follow the Swimming Safari Water Safety Rules” By making this pledge, children understand that water safety starts with them and that they have a role to play in keeping themselves and others safe. In-Pool Safety Practices for All Ages Once in the water, we tailor our safety practices to suit different age groups, ensuring each child learns appropriate skills for their level. Jungle Tots and Happy Hippos: Focus on always looking before they jump into water. “If it’s in the way it’s not okay” teaches student that if something or someone is in their way, it is not safe to jump into the water. Mighty Monkeys and Jungle Tots 4: Are taught essential rescue techniques such as “throw, don’t go” – teaching them to assist someone in trouble without putting themselves at risk. Terrific Tigers: Are taught an advanced version of rescuing we call “Reach and pull”. They are taught to help someone who is drowning by extending something long such as a pool noodle, towel, or pole to have the victim grab onto and pull them safely to the wall. Amazing Alligators: Work on advanced skills like treading water, which is essential for staying afloat and conserving energy in deeper water. Resources for Parents: Water Safety Table In addition to our in-pool activities, we have set up a Water Safety Table for parents. This resource hub provides valuable information on keeping children safe around water, offering tips and guidelines for various water-related situations. To make learning about water safety fun for the kids, we also have coloring pages available that highlight important safety tips. This interactive element helps reinforce what they’ve learned in a creative and engaging way. Fear of the unknown, the sensation of floating, or even past negative experiences can create uneasiness. And this isn’t just limited to children—adults often share similar apprehensions. Building Comfort in the Water Developing comfort in the water is essential for anyone learning to swim. Fun activities—like pretending to be sea creatures, taking toy ducks on a ride, or diving for rings—help learners move naturally without fixating on the “act of swimming.” By focusing on the activity or game, frustration about mastering a particular skill melts away. For example, if a child floats with a toy duck on their belly, they instinctively focus on keeping their belly up to help the duck “stay afloat.” They’re practicing a vital swimming skill without even realizing it! Singing familiar songs like Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star while holding a star above their heads is another playful way to encourage floating. Children love singing along while lying on their backs, especially when it’s a song they know.
